  1. I love YOAST. Taking the advice? I’m not open right now, so it’s not as important, yet.

  2. I’ve been using SEO Yoast for a long time and it has been one of my strongest tools. I can vouch for this helping me get to the top of search. Even though I’ve done that manually, Yoast makes me think about this a lot less.

  3. Totally agree Amy Yoast is the shizz when it comes to WordPress SEO. It’s a great way to target key words around your brAnd

  4. Great to see you back Amy!

Yoast is a great plugin that I also use and I am glad you mentioned it.
Another quick tip is to stay away from competitive short tail keywords until your blog has gained more of a competitive edge in search which takes a bit of time. Always better to find long tail keywords that are less competitive but still have a decent amount of search volume to help gain some initial search traffic to a new blog.

I find tools such as long tail pro are really helpful when it comes to prospecting for long tail keywords.

  5. Thank you so much! I had an issue with my posts not showing up with the titles (it defaulted to the page numbers) FINALLY fixed it way easier with Yoast. YAY!
