## Easy Digital Downloads Install and Set Up
Hey guys,
In today’s video we take a quick run through the installation and set up of a very popular WordPress plugin. Easy Digital Downloads (as the name would suggest) will allow you to sell digital downloads using the tools that you already know and love inside of WordPress.
Once we install the plugin we go through a couple of settings and then add a number of simple products. Finally we add a page on the site that will show our products, using a really simple shortcode provided by EDD.
A couple things that you should note.
– Although you can get up and running no problem with EDD on any site, you may want to consider using SSL for some payment gateways. Do a bit of Google searching.
– EDD extensions (link above) will allow you to add a lot of really handy functionality to your store.
