thaaaaaannnkkkkk youuuu sooo much i going for a wordpress site for gaming anyone can team up with me >>>……. most welcome everyone

  2. help i keep getting this

    Error establishing a database connection
This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at localhost/giant. This could mean your host’s database server is down.

Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
Are you sure that the database server is running?

  3. now spent another 3 hours reinstalling wamp to see why it wont open in chrome and i double cliked and it went straight to what script writer i wanted …this is a joke , surely.

  4. the program cant start because api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer, help please.

  5. Hi, Thank you for the tutorial. I did everything right and all went smoothly until I came to the part where I had to log in with the username and password I created. I am 100{6c85689da4238259371ec3643cce4c730fb2096ba6fc33e37ce8e8dc99f3f604} sure I typed in the correct username and password but it still wouldn’t let me sign in. When I want to reset my password and typed the email address I provided, this is the message I got from the succeeding page: The email could not be sent.
Possible reason: your host may have disabled the mail() function.
Can someone please tell what is wrong here. I didn’t have problem installing anything. Only the login is the problem. Even the website name I typed in when I registered is alive but I just can’t log in.

when i got to myadmin it asked for a user name and password. since I have never run this before it’s a real impasse for me.

  7. inaam hammouda

i had to update the wp-config manually because when i did click on the wampserver from localhost i get : this website is not available

  8. I cannot find a wamp or xamp that will work on my old azz computer. It is a windows xp 32 bit from 2002. I have tried maybe a dozen versions. Is it just too old to support this software?

  9. lol,,so spend 10 hours setting up wamp, sql etc… then press install wordpress…..yeah real easy.
8 hours later from writing last post….i wasnt joking about the 10 hours,,,iam still trying ffs….. no commercial program would be able to get away this.
might save someone a day…if you have a webserver on your pc from a few tutorials,,take it off,,,,wamp needs the hosting port.

  10. If you are having trouble opening up the local host, Change the port under the apache httpd:config where it says listen 80 or it may say listen 0.0.0.0.80 or something like that. Change it to 81 or 8080 and save the file. You will need to now type in localhost:81 or localhost:8080 and you will see the dashboard.

    For phpmyadmin do this localhost:81/phpmyadmin

  13. I installed MAMP on Sierra OS I cannot find phpMyAdmin. I have used finder and am striking out. Any ideas? I have located text "MySQL can be administered with phpMyAdmin." but no hypertext. I have also searched for phpMyAdmin without success.

  14. Problem: I don’t want to sound like a "Doe-Dick" but for some reason, WampServer won’t install… Keeps saying that I have missing .dll files. Do you have a video on installing the PHP, MySQL, and Pearl via Apachi? Your assistance will be greatly appreciated. I ended up simply giving up. LOL

Do you have a 2017 explanation how to do this online (instead of PC)? Thankyou.
