Integrate An Infusionsoft Optin Form With WordPress – Start Building Your Mailing List | WP Learning Lab

In this tutorial you will learn the basics of how to integrate an Infusionsoft optin form with your WordPress site. This will allow you to start collection mailing list subscribers that you can mail to frequently.

First, you need to log into your Infusionsoft account. Then hover over the main menu and click on Campaign Builder.

On the following page click the green Create Campaign button to start a new campaign. In the new campaign editor drag and drop an Optin Form goal and double click on it.

You can customize the appearance and structure of the form here. When you’re done click on Code tab to get the code for the form.

I only ever use the Javascript option or the HTML option.

HTML is required to integrate with plugins like Popup Domination or OptimizePress2.0. The Javascript option is much easier and it is all you need to create an optin form directly on your website.

The big benefit of using the Javascript option is that if you make structural changes to your optin form inside Infusionsoft they are automatically updated on your website. Not so for the HTML version.

Choose which version of the form code you want and copy it. Then go to your WordPress dashboard and hover over Appearance and click on Widgets. Add a sidebar text widget and paste the code into it. Save the widget.

Now the optin form will be in the sidebar of your blog. You can also add the optin to a page or post directly or into the template files. Wherever your paste the form code your form will appear.
