In today’s video I show you how to find and install themes and plugins. I talk about some of the pitfalls when using free WordPress themes. Some are coded poorly. Some slow down your site. Others hurt your site’s SEO (search engine optimization). So care should be taken when using a free WordPress theme.
After the discussion and examples about choosing and installing a theme, I explain how to find and install plugins. For an example, I show you how to install and activate Jetpack, a pretty sweet WordPress plugin that adds significant functionality to your professional WordPress website.
