    Great video!
    but isnt yoast SOE making a sitemap_index.xml that covers all sitemaps. I mean you dont need to add all the other sitemaps?
    If you read at Yoast homepage they only tell you to add sitemap_index.xml to the search console? Im little confused which sitemaps i should put in? If i should put in sitemap_index.xml and all others aswell?

    I really hope I can get an answer back. I set my Titles & Metas, but it doesn’t updated when I search my web on google. I was told I need to set them before they can show up. What could I be missing here? I already saved everything. I will really appreciate an answer.

    Great video.  I have a general question.  When you are in the Titles & Metas and click on Homepage.  I don’t have that same options as you in my verison of yoast. I can’t click over to my home page in wordpress.  I think you are using Divi builder. I am using Extra.  I am hoping your experience with Divi may give you an idea for me.When I share my url on facebook it just randomly pics an image. That could be fixed with yoast by me changing the image and description…but I have a problem.  In Divi I am not showing http://www.domain.com/home as my home page.  I am just showing http://www.domain.com.  So I have nowhere to go to change this. If I change it on the "home" page created in wordpress it doesn’t do anything because that is not my real home page.  It looks like Elegant theme sets a "homepage" that is a custom link in your menu that just shows domain. Further investigation shows that "homepage" is really a category in divi.  I guess Yoast can only work with pages and posts so I have no way of changing this "homepage" to have it pull a specific image and summary.  I guess I will have to sort through the mess that is Divi’s support page to see if there is a workaround.  Just was hoping maybe you had run into this.

    ONE WAY I SOLVED THE "VERIFY" PROBLEM

    1. In Google Search Console, delete the property you are using and then add a new property.
    2. Still in Google Search Console, copy the new meta name from the new property you created.
    3 In WordPress, paste the new meta name. (SEO < Dashboard < Webmaster tools < Google Search Console) *don’t forget to save
    4. While still in WordPress, (SEO < Search Console) Get google authorization code and Authenticate. *don’t forget to save
    5.Go back to Google Search Console and verify it.

    It should work.

Can you PLEASE help me with that. I would assume that this would be important to correct so that my website can be searched, correct?

    Darrel-Awesome video man, I almost made it to the end with NO issue. When creating my site map on the search console page, I kept getting an error after submission. Says "We encountered an error while trying to access your Sitemap. Please ensure your Sitemap follows our guidelines and can be accessed at the location you provided and then resubmit".

    Under "Example" says "URL restricted by robots.txt". Any idea how I fix this so I can submit my various sitmaps?
